New Delhi, October 2025:
The national capital is celebrating creativity without boundaries as the “Beyond Limits 2025” Art Exhibition opens its doors in Delhi. This inspiring event showcases over 78 specially-abled artists from across India, bringing together a powerful display of talent, resilience, and artistic excellence.
Organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) in collaboration with leading art foundations, the exhibition aims to highlight the extraordinary abilities of artists who overcome physical and cognitive challenges through the language of art.
???? Celebrating Talent and Inclusion
The exhibition features more than 200 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, digital art, and mixed media installations. Each piece reflects the artists’ unique perspectives on life, emotions, and society. From abstract interpretations of human emotion to vivid depictions of Indian culture, the artworks redefine creativity beyond conventional boundaries.
The event was inaugurated by Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar, who praised the participants for their inspiring creativity. “This exhibition is a testament to India’s inclusive spirit — it proves that art has no limitations, only possibilities,” he said during the opening ceremony.
????️ Empowering Through Art
“Beyond Limits 2025” also serves as a platform for social inclusion and empowerment. The exhibition provides specially-abled artists with visibility, opportunities for recognition, and access to potential buyers and art institutions.
Several non-profit organizations and corporate sponsors have partnered in the initiative, pledging support for accessibility, art education, and long-term mentorship programs for differently-abled creators.
Visitors are encouraged to purchase artworks, the proceeds of which will directly support the participating artists and their future projects.
????️ A Cultural Milestone for Delhi
The exhibition, hosted at the India Habitat Centre, will remain open to the public for a week. It is expected to attract art enthusiasts, students, NGOs, and government officials who champion inclusivity in the creative space.
Curators have described the show as a blend of creativity, courage, and compassion — a reminder that art transcends all barriers.
